The Australian Festival of Chamber Music, coming up to its 29th year, will be held over 10 days throughout the city of Townsville and on the offshore islands from 26 July to 4 August.
The Festival was established to enhance the cultural environment of North Queensland by presenting internationally acclaimed classical musicians to audiences from Townsville, around Australia and overseas.
Some 25 concerts and 5 special events will entertain visitors and locals alike, including the hugely popular morning Conversations, full-length Evening concerts, a magical concert on the beach of Orpheus Island and a concert on Magnetic Island.

Townsville venues hosting performances will be Townsville Civic Theatre, The Pavilion – The Ville Resort, St James Cathedral, Queen’s Gardens and Orpheus Island.
