Wander the streets of Townsville and explore the fabulous street art murals with a self-guided walking tour.
You’ll discover inspiring art pieces in streets, alleys and laneways by local and internationally renowned artists including ROA, HAHA, Claire Foxton, Nicky Bidju Pryor and Run Collective, to name a few.
There is even an augmented reality component available for some of the installations so that you can experience a convergence of art and animation. You’ll just need to scan the QR code at one of the sites that is augmented reality compatible and download the app.
There are 27 points along the trail but as Townsville’s street art scene is constantly evolving, it’s a good idea to keep your eyes peeled for new works not on the map and you could also follow Townsville City Galleries on Facebook for the latest news.
